ABOUT US
YIMA is rooted in the family history of its founder. In the 1960s in Morocco, her grandfather was the one who taught her Amazigh grandmother how to sew. A small act, yet a profound statement: in a patriarchal society, he chose to bend tradition and prove a truth: fashion belongs to everyone.
TIMELESS PIECES
In the wardrobes of this family, there were always those hidden gems: high-quality garments, timeless, able to transcend decades and elevate any outfit. Pieces that give confidence to whoever wore them. This spirit still drives YIMA's vision today: fashion that empowers, that makes you stand taller, that makes you feel unstoppable.
RETHINKING FASHION
YIMA pursues this legacy: creating garments that stand the test of time, go beyond fleeting trends, and adapt to every identity. In a world shaped by overproduction and climate change, the answer is clear: produce less, but better.
RESPONSIBLE SOURCING
Every fabric is chosen with care. YIMA rescues textiles that were destined to be discarded, personally sourced and reimagined. An upcycling approach that transforms the forgotten into the essential, giving new life to what the industry would otherwise waste.
PRODUCE LESS, PRODUCE BETTER
Each piece is made in limited series, with respect for artisans and workshops, far from the relentless pace of fast fashion. Wearing YIMA means embracing a liberating form of fashion: bold, timeless, and desirable creations that cross generations while honoring both the planet and the people who craft them.
A COMMITMENT IN MOTION
YIMA’s ambition is progressive: to gradually achieve the most demanding certifications in sustainable fashion — Fair Wear Foundation to ensure fair working conditions, Longtime to certify durability and reparability, and B Corp to embed the brand within a global movement of social and environmental impact.
Designed to empower you. Made to last. Worn to belong.
